The cemetery is open all year including Christmas and the New Year.
In order to help us keep the cemeteries open during the current COVID-19 emergency, visitors should always adhere to the government guidelines on social distancing.
This means that you should not congregate with more than 6 people outside your family within the cemetery.
Stay 2 metres apart if you do not live together.
Avoid coming into close contact with other visitors.
If you have to use the taps provided, please wash your hands or sanitise as soon as practical.
The Community Hub is open to visitors on Wednesdays as normal, however you are required to check in using the Track & Trace app, or to fill in a name and contact number on the forms provided inside. There are also other measures in place to keep our visitors and volunteers safe, such as handwashing facilities, hand sanitiser, masks and gloves, and regular cleaning of the facilities.
Please follow these guidelines which are designed to help us keep the cemeteries open.
Thank you for your cooperation.
There are a lot of interesting graves, people, and stories here. Manchester United's Mark Jones, the story of the fallen angel, cricketer Roy Kilner...
