The Community Hub was once a derelict chapel filled with rubble, old pews from other churches, chairs, and other junk collected over the years. After years of wishing, the Friends received a £150,000 grant made up of awards from the Heritage Lottery Fund, WREN, FCC Environment, Barnsley Council and our own funding.

In 2016, NPS Barnsley completed the work that needed to be done to the chapel to make it into the building it is today. The final outcome of the building is remarkable.
