As if 2025 wasn't exciting enough, Santa Paws came to Wombwell Cemetery to visit all the pooches on the nice list!
The Friends held a Santa Paws Coffee Morning on Friday 19th December, which was a MASSIVE success! We had so many four-legged friends marching on through the door to meet Santa Paws and grab a goody bag, we didn't know where to put ourselves.
It's safe to say that all pooches had a fabulous time, and they all came in their best Christmas outfits to impress Santa and have the chance to enter a prize draw for a special stocking of goodies!
The 2025 Santa Paws Coffee Morning was all to help out a local kennel, Good Life Dog Rescue, where some of the Friends have rescued dogs from. All money raised went to the kennel, and we raised £146.53. We also dropped off food, toys, and various other treats to the kennel, which was greatly received!
Good Life Dog Rescue have now moved to Leeds, but if you're looking to rescue a pooch, give them a look.
Here are some photos of just a small handful of pups who visited Santa Paws, including Tucker (the competition winner), Moo, Hugo, Peggy, Teddy, Murphy, and Mya. We'd also like to say a HUGE thank you to Santa and Elf for visiting, though we think it's safe to say you enjoyed it very much!
